ABS Plastic Facts and Information

This acrylic polymer, itself an acrylic polymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile, is amorphous. As it heats, ABS changes chemically.

Where does ABS come from?

The most common polymerization method for ABS is emulsion (mixing several compounds into one). A milk emulsion is an example of an emulsion.
